What are the requirements to be a volunteer coach?
Becoming a coach is simple, yet extremely rewarding! So if you want to have fun and motivate young players, then this is what you have to do:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Complete a Volunteer Application Form
- Complete free HEADS UP Youth Sports concussion course
- Attend the mandatory coaches meeting prior to start of season
- Attend all practices (weekday evenings) and games (weekends)
- Agree to coach by the Sportsmanship and Standards set by Ball Hog Sports LLC
There a several reasons, but most importantly you will be a mentor and positive role model for young players. By providing instruction and feedback, you will also help develop their skills and teamwork.
